DG Bruce Campbell

A message from your District Governor - September 11 2004


	Duane Blackwill 1932-2004

I am sad to report that Past District Governor Duane Blackwill, Rotary Club of Santa Rosa, died Thursday, September 9, 2004 in Santa Rosa after a struggle with cancer. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2004, 11:00 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, 550 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa. Duane was Governor in 1993-94. A member of the Rotary Club of Petaluma and later the Rotary Club of Santa Rosa, Duane was the father of our district's current RYLA before serving as Governor and dedicated much of himself to its continued success even afterwards. We will all miss his smile in the woods at RYLA and at our district meetings.
