Rotary Leaders,

The Rotary Clubs of District 5130 are invited to submit nominations for candidates for the office of District Governor 2011-2012.

The District Nominating Committee is currently accepting nominations for qualified Rotarians to serve as District Governor from July 1, 2011 until June 30, 2012. Each club may submit one nominee. See the attached references for candidate qualifications and procedures for submitting resolutions. The nominations close on March 15, 2009.

Governor-nominee application forms are linked below. Applicants are reminded to observe the following protocol:

• Learn and follow the rules for district elections.
• If there are any concerns that a current assignment or a new assignment may give an appearance of campaigning, consult with knowledgeable Rotarians.
• Do not undertake personal initiatives to gain visibility, personal recognition, or favor.
• Do not respond in kind to another candidate’s improper activities.
• Do not communicate with or visit clubs involved in the applicable election, except to ful?ll necessary functions.
