Rotary District 5130
District Governor
Ken Moulton

Welcome to the 2007-08 Rotary year for District 5130. As your District Governor, I am honored and privileged to serve this great organization in the coming year. As a Rotarian for the last 16 years, I have come to appreciate the great things that Rotary accomplishes both at home and internationally. As we pursue that spirit of service that distinguishes Rotary from other organizations, I look forward to working with you in this next year to achieve Rotary's goal of ending human suffering and achieving world peace.

Wilf Wilkinson, Rotary International President for 2007-08, has offered the challenge for each of us to share Rotary. As Rotary Shares its knowledge, leadership and talents with our local and world communities, Rotary International's dream of World Peace through Understanding, will come closer to becoming a reality. That is the challenge I ask of you this next year, a renewed commitment to provide "uncommon leadership" to accomplish this dream at home and abroad.

I am extremely proud of the leadership team that has been assembled at the District level. Your Assistant Governors and District Committee chairs provide great resources for each Rotarian in this District. With these resources, Club Presidents will have the tools to accomplish their goals for the coming year and will provide, within their Club, the continuity and leadership linking past, present and future. This can only strengthen our organization.

Thanks you for being part of the Rotary International and District 5130. I wish each of you a successful year as we travel the path of service together. We really can make a difference!

Yours in Rotary,
District Governor Ken
