Katrina Disaster Relief

Dear District 5130 Rotarians:
Thank you for your concern and willingness to offer immediate help to the Southern U.S.
Please see this message from RI President Carl-Wilhelm Stenhammar
The current emergency and crisis caused by Hurricane Katrina has resulted in the following message from RI :
“RI Web folks and the Programs staff have posted a letter from President Stenhammar to Rotarians affected by Hurricane Katrina. There is a letter which will be sent from the President to the DG's from the region as well. This letter to Rotarians along with information regarding Disaster Relief questions is posted on the RI website at the following link: Club and District Disaster Relief Efforts.
In a short time, a definitive strategy will be developed by RI.
As additional information is received, it will be posted.

Tim Shea

Our District 5130 Rotary family has been hurt;
we have lost a son.
On August 25, Tim Shea was killed in combat in Iraq.

Tim is the son of Bill and Mary Shea
936 Harley Street; Sonoma 95476.
Bill is a member of Sonoma Valley Rotary

As Rotarians, we wish for the day when world peace and international
understanding are realities; as parents and friends, we are hurt when our
children and our friends are hurt. Please keep Bill and Mary in your
thoughts and prayers. Please do what you can to bring us together in any
and every way.

Vigil: Monday, 9/5, 7:00 pm, St. Leo's Catholic Church, 601 West Agua Caliente Road, Sonoma.
Services: Tuesday, 9/6, 11:00 am, St. Leo's.
Internment & Reception: Immediately following, reception at Veteran's Building.
