Practically everything we do as Rotarians is intertwined.
When we have a project, we need fundraising, publicity, membership.
If we want members, we need enthusiasm, involvement, purpose and value.
To create value, we need dedicated leaders, worthwhile programs and projects.
Finding programs and projects requires knowledge of resources. Et cetera. . .

The goal of a District Assembly is to provide as much knowledge as we can - in the little time we have available - with enthusiasm and dedication - so that you and your clubs will have a great year:
- with increased attendance
- with better projects
- with more involvement of members
- and with a greater appreciation for the tremendous opportunity
we are given as Rotarians !
This year, the District Assembly will be held at Mendocino College, just North of Ukiah. We hope that Presidents-Elect will be able to bring along their Club Secretaries (even if that position has been held 'forever' by a very capable person), their Club Treasurer (ditto, plus anyone that handles event funding), Board Members, Committee Chairs, and, most especially, New Rotarians.
Even though Rotary is 100 years old, it is still growing - and that growth is due to its dynamic capabilities at home and Internationally. We are stressing "The Power of One" - one idea, one person, one event - that can change at least one life (definitely yours). Please attend, and bring a friend.
The night before, there will be a special dinner (limited attendance) at Redwood Valley Cellars. There, you can enjoy a great meal, meet District leaders (present and future), and just kick back with Rotary friends.
After the Assembly, we'll have an informal "Attitude Adjustment" event (again, limited attendance) - where you can discuss the day's sessions while enjoying local wines and beers (we will also have non-alcoholic refreshments).
Rotary has so much to offer - please share it.
