Join in the multi-club, day of planting redwood trees starts at Jenner Headlands on January 24, 2026. Help restore depleted redwood forests and
rejuvenate carbon-absorbing flora! All Rotary and Interact clubs are invited to participate- make this your club’s Environment project for the Rotary year.
Details-
Who: Rotary District 5130, with host Forests Unlimited volunteers. Forests Unlimited is a non-profit involved in education about California forestry practices and reforesting burned/logged areas.
What: Planting 12” redwood tree starts
Where: Jenner Headlands Preserve, organized carpooling from Duncans Mills
When: January 24, meet in Duncan Mills at 8:30, plant trees from 10:00 to 3:00, lunch will be provided
How: Tools will be provided, but bring a shovel if you have a favorite, a hat, and water

This is the third such project that District 5130 has conducted in the past few years, the first two being very successful and resulting in thousands of trees being planted!
